Challah in Darlington

posted 13 Oct 2013, 09:50 by Peninnah Pappworth-McAllister
Darlington members have a long tradition of providing home-baked challah for  the kiddush.
Here are members Maya and Miriam honey-glazing the challot for Rosh Hashanah.
This year the home-baked tradition was extended further as Rabbi Borts brought the very first  ever apple grown on her  own apple tree and DHC members supplied home-grown fruit for both Rosh Hashanah and Succot including  apples, plums and even figs.
