DHC invited to the Darlington Fire Station.

Darlington members along with representatives from other  Darlington community  groups recently received an invitation to go along to the fire station to see and hear about the work of the fire service.  There was an excellent turn out of DHC members who made up the majority of the guests at the evening. After talks and demonstrations of aspects of the service's work  some visitors were given the opportunity to obtain a bird's eye or rather fire service view from the raised platform of the mobile crane. The DHC brave volunteer was DHC buildings and premises manager, Martin Goldberg who 'flew' over the practice fire tower and was afforded an amazing view of Darlington at night.
