From Jan 12th, our first monthly service for 2013, DHC will be providing a crèche/tots cheder  from 10am during our monthly Shabbat services. This will be led by Nicola Edger who has planned a fun packed programme aimed at the youngest members of our community. The sessions will include musical games and songs, art and craft actvities and story, all aimed to introduce the children to Jewish learning in a lively and enjoyable manner. The children will join the service at various suitable points and also have a squash and biscuit break to keep them going until the kiddush! Whilst initially this initiative is aimed at 5 and unders, older children are also most welcome to attend as 'helpers' and they will certainly benefit from the Jewish learning taking place. Parents/carers will need to be attending the service and/or helping in the cheder. We regret we are not able to cater for unaccompanied children.
If you would like to know more or want to let us know who will be attending then please do contact us as soon as possible.
